Service Manager (m/f)

 

 

You will expect this tasks:

  • Familiarization with the content of the contract and the underlying (technical) customer needs and technologies used
  • responsible for supporting our customers in the managed service environment with a focus on Oracle databases and their infrastructure
  • professional management of our Managed Service division
  • Management and implementation of service review meetings with the customer
  • Main point of contact for our customers in the event of malfunctions and their follow-up, including management of measures for sustainable problem elimination
  • Ensuring quality assurance and approval of the created customer statements
  • Coordination and planning of transition
  • Support of the sales department in the creation of service level agreements and provision of the required service descriptions as part of the offer process
  • Review of the cost and revenue development or control of measures for cost / revenue optimization

What you already bring with you:

  • Completed studies in the field of business informatics, computer science or business administration or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in the management of IT services
  • Proven skills in leading teams in the IT environment
  • Strong understanding of or interest in IT and software
  • very good communication skills and a confident demeanor with customers
  • very good written and spoken German and English
  • Teamwork and high motivation
  • high level of commitment and willingness to learn.

 

Ideally, you already have a certification:

  • according to ITIL or ISO 20000 (at least Foundation Level)

 

What you can expect from us:

  • Support and administration of Oracle hardware
  • Administration of the OTRS ticket system
  • Supervision and responsibility for monitoring systems (check_MK, Nagios or Oracle Cloud Control)
  • Conception, construction and operation of Linux high availability systems
  • Virtualization (e.g. Proxmox VE, VMware, KVM, Oracle KVM, Oracle VM)
  • Participation in complex project tasks
  • Bash scripting as well as in programming languages, e.g. Perl, python, or Java
  • Oracle Grid Infrastructure and ASM
  • Administration of application servers (e.g. Tomcat, Glassfisch, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Appl. Server, etc.)
