Junior Oracle database administrator (m/f)
In the Managed Services Databases team

You will expect this tasks:

  • Support and step-by-step assumption of responsibility for the administration, optimization and further development of the Oracle databases at the customer
  • Implementation of troubleshooting, tuning and commissioning of Oracle databases
  • Planning and implementation of database upgrades and updates

What you already bring with you:

  • A successfully completed IT degree or a successfully completed vocational training related to IT and at least 3 years of professional experience
  • Experience with the administration of Oracle databases
  • Knowledge of SQL and PL / SQL
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows
  • English proficiency
  • Fluent knowledge of German language
  • Teamwork and high motivation
  • High level of commitment and willingness to learn.

Ideally, you already have experience in the following areas:

  • Backup & Recovery
  • Tuning (SE2 und EE)
  • Participation in complex project tasks
  • Bash scripting as well as in programming languages, e.g. Perl, python, or Java
  • ASM and Grid Infrastructure
  • MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
