Junior Oracle database administrator (m/f)
In the Managed Services Databases team
You will expect this tasks:
- Support and step-by-step assumption of responsibility for the administration, optimization and further development of the Oracle databases at the customer
- Implementation of troubleshooting, tuning and commissioning of Oracle databases
- Planning and implementation of database upgrades and updates
What you already bring with you:
- A successfully completed IT degree or a successfully completed vocational training related to IT and at least 3 years of professional experience
- Experience with the administration of Oracle databases
- Knowledge of SQL and PL / SQL
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows
- English proficiency
- Fluent knowledge of German language
- Teamwork and high motivation
- High level of commitment and willingness to learn.
Ideally, you already have experience in the following areas:
- Backup & Recovery
- Tuning (SE2 und EE)
- Participation in complex project tasks
- Bash scripting as well as in programming languages, e.g. Perl, python, or Java
- ASM and Grid Infrastructure
- MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
